Here Frank!
Got them really cold, room temp or tasty cellar temp (my fave). As well (rummage rumamge) have some nice Pale ale, some wacky Belgian stuff and Coors Light (chuckle) for those who like such things. Also a crisp Gewurztraminer
for the non brew folks out there.

Phssst-click.... Glug glug glug...

Slainte!

So you know, I 've been playing DBA since 1990...and all the versions are so messed up in my head, I still think Blade don't don't get QK'd by knights! :???

Nope. Maybe Bob can collect 3.0 commentaries, as he once did with 2.2, until Phil told him to stop.

Hi

That's it, I'm officially completly pissed off with the Yahoo list. I just posted this -
************
Is it possible that the DBA3 discussion might be taken to a new list please ?

This list was fine and dealt with issues around the current version of the game, but now it's just full of willful misreading, wild specualtion and some degeree of personal animosity revolving around a ruleset that isn't remotely ready for publication.

Fanaticus at least has a seperate board for this constant warngling.

I really don't give a **** what version is being played, I just play the game - very badly but that's my problem.

I have no interest in this rubbish but I promise I will play whatever version the organisers of the tournaments at PAWS, Chichester, Alton and Alvechurch choose to use.

If this constant argument and backbiting doesn't go away I for one will quit the list.
*********

Some support from other Fanaticati would be much appreciated

@Guthroth: Feel your pain. I have long abandoned the DBA yahoo.

@all: great choices of libations and happy to have you all. Kontos, you're hosting the next one. :p

H - to a point I agree. In some ways (and I stress only some) it's a replay in miniature of the DBMM discussions.

As for PAWS, I have no idea yet what version we'll play. With an internal club re-organisation in January my views will become less important anyway. Many would say that's a good thing.

As for a drink, I'll go with the single malt approach. I've got a 10 year old one I haven't opened yet. Cheers one and all. :2up

Ah, 3.0. We should definitely write the definitive guide to DBA 3.0 - or it's real title - An Actual Game based on the Vague Ramblings of PB!

I can thoroughly recommend the Guiness in Dublin as is made of the purest water. But having travelled and sampled many beers I thoughtfully promote Stella Artois...having returned from Quatar working off-shore during Ramadan, I was awaiting a connecting flight so had a few swifties in the bar at 7 a.m. ...simply the best!

I started off with the very tasty microbrew Aphrodisiaque, but since we're heading into a long session it's time to reach for the tastiest of cheap malt tonics. There's always plenty of this to go around in our kitchen, feel free to help yourself!

Ahhh Black Label, drank a lot of that(warm) as a 15 year old when I would go into a rural bar and ask to buy a case of beer and the bartender would go down in the basement and bring up an old dusty case of it and charge about triple what it would cost at a liquor store................
