Flags

I found the great selection of flags recommended on this list at http://www.warflag.com/flags/medieval/franceselect.shtml
However they are too large for 15mm :( . My computer skills or software do not allow me to shrink them. Can any one recommend a way to shrink them to 15mm size.

If you use microsoft office, open up your powerpoint program and create a new presentation. select import file and import your flags. then resize the flags to about 60% of their original size by selecting the photo and then clicking and dragging on the black corner square to resize. You can turn on the grid lines in powerpoint to help with scaling.

then print out the presentation. viola!

you can actually do the same thing in microsoft word if your version is new enough.

if that fails, in your printer options you can select 'fit to page' and then tell the printer that it is actually printing on an envelope or something similar that is smaller than a regular piece of paper. (Though feel free to leave the regular paper in!)

This takes some fiddling, so print in black and white until you get the right size.

Try to open with paint and reduce 2 times 50%. Fits very nice!
