Thanks,

Hittites were known for their long dark (typically black) hair, which was mocked by the Egyptians as effiminant. The basic garment was an undyed wool knee-length and sleeveless tunic. The next step up would add decorative borders to the hem, sleeves and/or neck. The richest would have finer robes with colors and patterns (look at Hollywood Trojans for inspiration), which I understand they covered with a large white sleeveless (wool) smock or cloak to keep them from getting dirty while galloping around in those chariots. .
Check out Nigel Stillman's guide for Foundry at: http://www.wargamesfoundry.com/library/hittites.asp
The Osprey guides to Kadesh and for the NKE Egyptians contain plates featuring some typical Hittite foes.
I think my Hittite army is in the Fanatici galleries. Check it out, as it was painted using the Ospreys as a guide.

Thanks Chris! I have the NKE Osprey and there is one plate of a Hittite chariot, though I will use the Mitanni and Syrian plates for additional inspiration.
I will have to check out the Foundry guide.
Nice army pics!
Thanks,
Jason
