Wooded Hills> Rules Variants > Resources > Fanaticus Wooded Hills represent a alternative type of Hill terrain (DBA area terrain feature), representing a normal steep or gentle hill that is wood covered. They combine the terrain effects of the normal Hill-type (e.g. upslope advantage to defenders) with the terrain effects of woods (e.g. limiting group movement and distance shooting, interrupting line-of-site, etc.) By agreement of the players or as specified in a scenario, a wooded hill (with either steep or gentle slopes) may be deployed by the defender instead of a regular hill feature. They make an excellent addition to the battlefield for players using the variant Ambush rules. > Top of Page > Rules Variants > Resources > Fanaticus Last Updated: 24 August 2010 Questions, comments, suggestions welcome. |
