Roadside Shrine

Roadside Shrine by Greg Kelleher for use with his Knights of St. John army. I had an old Gallia roadside shrine hanging around and I thought that it would form the basis of a good medieval camp.  The shrine is mounted on a piece of pine bark that has been painted and drybrushed.  The pathway is fine sand washed with brown ink and then drybrushed.  The same finish was applied to stones separating meadow from path.  The monks and infantry are all by Essex.  Hopefully the blessing will work the next time I go forth to battle.
