Syracusan Grapple

Scratch-built by Greg Kelleher. This is meant to represent Archimedes famous ship grabber. The walling is 5mm foamcore faced with embossed styrene, the crane is balsa with cotton for the ropes, the grapple is made from paper clips snipped and soldered together, and the shore line is pine bark painted up to represent low cliffs.
