Stockade Camp

By Richard Speedman. This is a simple stockade camp I built for my 15mm Anglo-Danish DBA army. Earth banks were built-up on the MDF base using cardboard and then blended-in using spackle. I then glued fencing by Irregular onto the embankment before spray-painting the entire base brown. I added a roasting pig and archer (both Irregular Miniatures) and a Saxon archer and spearman, converted from a Viking axeman, (both by Gladiator Games) to defend the camp. Green flock "grass" and brown tea-leaf "earth" was added using PVA glue before spraying the whole with varnish.
