By Paul Potter. Although designed to serve as a stronghold
for HOTT Cossack and Russian armies, this wooden Russian Church also doubles
as a BUA for any medieval Russian army. The onion domes are
beads with bead cones glued on top with crosses attached. Some of the beads
had to be flattened on the bottom. The windows are jewelry findings. The
rest is dowel and balsa wood. The balsa wood is heavily scribed with a
black ink pen to create the impression of individual logs.

Assembled, awaiting paint and flocking.

The characteristic Russian onion domes were fashioned from beads procured at
a local craft/hobby store (Hobby Lobby).
