PARTHIANS (II/37)

> Armies of the Fanatici > DBA Resources > Fanaticus

Here is my Parthian DBA army. I used Chariot figures for most of this army.
Painted using acrylics, mainly Citadel Paints and based on plasticard.

The Cataphracts (4Kn)

The figures are Chariot Sassanid Cataphracts, but still look right for Parthians I think. Bases have been coated with fine sand and small bits of gravel stuck on with diluted PVA.

The Parthian Light Horse (2Lh)

These figs are Chariot Huns. Not exactly Parthian, but the look is OK for Chionite/Ephthalite tribes, who were related to the Huns, and I understand came under the Parthian sphere of influence.

Auxilia (3Ax)

These are actually Essex Cuman foot figures, I have used them
to represent Kurdish javelinmen.
