Sub-Roman British (DBA II/81c)
By Richard Moriarty
The mounted figures are all Old Glory 15mm Arthurian medium cavalry. The spear are
Donnington. My favorite bit of reading for this army was the article "Artorius, Ambrosius, Arthur: Questing for the historical Arthur, King of Britons" by Sheila Brynjulfson. She builds a picture of Arthur mab uter (terrible warrior), an aggressive Romano-British commander or general who was chosen time and again to lead combined armies against invaders.
