The Auxumite Empire of Northern Ethiopia as represented by the DBA Abyssianian and Horn of Africa (II/62) list. Figures are 15mm Feudal Castings, except as noted. Painted with water-based acrylics, over white primer.

General (El/Gen) and Skirmishers (2Ps)

The General figure is Feudal Castings, but Jumbo and crew are an old "TableTop" Blemmye casting. I struggled to find an appropriate textile design from Axumite source. I found a sketch of the design shown. The design was from the right period, but there was no color info, so I used the red, yellow and green "Colors of Ethiopia", admittedly from a much later period.
