Greg Kelleher's
Saitic Egyptian (664-335 BC) (DBA I/53)
> Armies of the Fanatici > Eye Candy Galleries > DBA Resources > Fanaticus
Here is my Saitic Egyptian army, using 15mm Xyston figures. The period chosen is when there were major influences from Persia and Hellas, with some residual native touches.

General in Chariot (HCh)
I used the Xyston scythe chariot, without the scythes, to represent the Generalšs heavy chariot.

Saitic General (3Cv)
This is the mounted option of the Persian revolt period. The Persian influence is very evident.

Cavalry (2Lh)
The light horse element betrays Greek influence.

Spearmen
The phalanx mixes Greek and native troops.

Skirmishing javelinmen (2Ps)

Archers (3Bw)
This element represents Rhodian mercenary archers.
