David Lawrence's
Sung Chinese,
960-1279 AD
DBA III/61
Here are my World Champion Sung Chinese - used at
the IWF DBA sideshow
in April 2005. The army used a mix of figures after
originally being built from an Essex
Sung Chinese Base.

The General and his Cavalry (3Cv)
Essex Sung Cavalry and a Tang General (he looks
cooler than the Sung General). The Green Banner Reads Mei Ling and
is the name of a friend, after she wrote her name in Chinese
characters, I photo-reduced it to put on the banner and carry it
into battle.

The Sung Crossbowmen (4Cb)
These are all Essex except for one Irregular
Miniatures (Front Left Hand Side)

Sung Spearmen and Halberdiers (4Bd)
The Blue Colored Halberdiers are Falcon
Miniatures, the Brass Armoured Short Spear Wielders are Essex Sung
Imperial Guard, and the Sword & Sheild men are Evil Gong Chinese.

The "Invincible Bamboo Commander" (Art)
Essex and Irregular Miniatures crew figures, but I
don't know who made the Rocket Launchers.

Skirmishers (2Ps)
Essex Miniatures Cb and Bw figures.

Picked Men (3Bd)
Irregular Miniatures Mongol Officers and an Evil
Gong Swordsman.

Militia (7Hd)
Tabletop Games Chinese - a little out of period
I'll admit, but they look cool.

Archers (3Bw)
Essex Khitan Archers and a TTG Standard bearers.
And check out David's
Sung Chinese
Camp.
