The following is a collection of links and resources supporting DBA's Big Battle (BBDBA) rules, which allow you to form 36 element armies in three commands using a core army list and allies. BBDBA is the DBA counterpart to DBM and other mass battle systems. Although well-suited to tournament play at conventions, BBDBA also gives a good club game for 2-6 players that lasts about two hours. And if you want more, there's always Giant Battle DBA.

Variant Rules

The North American Society of Ancient and Medieval Wargamers supports these Big Battle variant rules and scoring system for Big Battle tournaments, the most notable of which is a 5x2 game board.

Impetuous or Dilatory Allies is inspired by Phil Barker's Dilatory Allies rules in Horse, Foot & Guns.

Big Battle DBA Campaign variant by John Meunier combines the Big Battle rules with campaign-style gaming suitable for a convention format.
